the participant experience

How does a participant interact in a virtual OW?

Participants in a virtual OW use 2 distinct software simultaneously:

  1. a virtual meeting platform (like Zoom, MS Team, Webex ...) for receiving instructions and OW strategic frameworks, participating to group interactions (TOOTs, debriefs...), communicating with other participants in virtual rooms and moving between virtual rooms

  2. the work document platform (programmed on top of Google Sheets and PowerPoint) to have:

  • CCI customers creating contracts and payments within their pre-assigned budget

  • CCI TOPS consulting customer payments and using available funds to pay salaries and bonuses

  • CCI BOTTOMS to create and present the deliverables for CCI customers on one shared PowerPoint document per team

  • CCI MIDDLES and BOTTOMS consulting their remuneration

How does a participant in each OW role experience the virtual OW platform?

You will walk through and interact with the real living screens of the work document platform to see the flow of CCI work.

Let us start with a CCI customer...

To see the exact living work document for CHAMPION, a CCI customer, click on this link and then click on the different tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet to get a first quick impression about their content.
Notes: (1) If the spreadsheet is stuck on "Loading", refresh the browser page. (2) This is a demo workshop where all numbers are reset once per hour: if this happens during your walk through, just restart it.
And then come back here (on this browser page you are reading now) to continue the walk through instructions.

The 4 spreadsheet tabs you just saw are:

  1. Worksheet: for all finance-related information and transactions. The customer project is at the top. You can click the link on yellow background above the number table to make a payment within the "Available cash": just do it now. The result could take more than 10 seconds to appear.

  2. ExerciseTimer: participants get access via this tab to a timer (which is not running now) and other information which can be changed in real time and are visible by all participants across all virtual rooms.

  3. Role instructions: instructions for your role in the Organization Workshop.

  4. Participants: list of all participants with their OW role in this specific workshop (created names here).

Then continue with the work document accessible only to all CCI TOPS...

To see the exact living work document accessible by all CCI TOPS, click on this link, explore again the bottom tabs and come back here to continue the walk through.

On the TOPS Worksheet spreadsheet tab, you see on the top table the payment you have done on the CHAMPION worksheet. You can pay a salary to a group or a bonus to one person, within the limits of the "Remaining cash" of the second table, by clicking on the corresponding link on yellow background. Just do a couple of transactions now.
Note: This demo version has up to 3 TOPS (T-a to T-c), 4 MIDDLES (M-1 to M-4) and 12 BOTTOMS in 4 teams (B-1x to B-4x) of 3 members (B-1a to B-1c).
On the Remunerations spreadsheet tab, you see the detail of all the remunerations already distributed.

The spreadsheet tabs ExerciseTimer and Participants are the same for all participants across all roles and virtual rooms. The spreadsheet tab "Role instructions" contains the initial instructions and traditions specific for each customer or for all CCI staff.

And lastly the work documents used by BOTTOMS and MIDDLES.

To see the exact living work document accessible by all CCI BOTTOMS, MIDDLES (and TOPS) click on this link. Then come back here.

Click on any of the 4 links in yellow background on the MidBot Worksheet tab to access a BOTTOM team Google Slides slide deck (PowerPoint for real workshop participants). Read the text in the first 2 slides and create one "dummy" slogan with picture on slide 3. BOTTOMS share their work with other roles (customers, TOPS, MIDDLES) present in the same virtual room by sharing their screen in the virtual meeting platform.

Come back to the spreadsheet and click on the link below "Your current remuneration" to see your role (or any other role) remuneration.
